Unlike AUM-based fee or user-based or hybrid models, pricing is based on count of ownership structures rather than portfolio, team size or number of accounts. This approach keeps family office software pricing predictable while avoiding hidden fees as private assets and entities increase.
2. Is Asset Vantage pricing based on AUM or performance-based fees?
No. Asset Vantage does not use AUM-based pricing or performance-based fees. The pricing model is independent of portfolio size, net worth, or investment performance, which avoids misalignment as family wealth and private assets scale over time.
3. How do fee structures change as a family office grows more complex?
Pricing scales with the operational complexity. The fee structure reflects additional general ledger accounting, consolidated reporting, and investment tracking needs, not changes in market value or cash flows.
4. What is included in the listed pricing, and what is not?
The listed pricing covers the core family office software platform, including portfolio accounting, performance reporting, data aggregation, and multi-entity support. One-time onboarding services and optional managed services are clearly shown separately, so there are no hidden fees or unexpected cost increases later.
5. Why does Asset Vantage avoid AUM-based pricing models?
AUM-based pricing is common in wealth management, but does not reflect how family office operations actually work. Asset Vantage pricing is designed around ownership structures, administrative functions, and long-term investment management needs, which provides cost stability as families diversify into private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.

You can either make payment by Credit Card or a wire transfer.
2. What are the payment schedules? Can I pay monthly/quarterly?
The AV Trial has monthly payment terms. The License fee is payable annually in advance.
3. Are there any overage fees? Any hidden fees?
An overage fee of 3% is applicable for payments by credit card.

You can pay for the Trial or Annual License whenever you are ready to get started. You will receive your system credentials within 24 hours of payment.

No. Asset Vantage pricing is presented upfront, with a clearly defined pricing structure. There are no hidden fees tied to usage, net worth, or investment performance. Any additional services are explicitly shown, so family office costs remain predictable over time.
2. What typically increases family office software costs over time?
Costs increase only when the operational scope increases. This includes adding new entities, expanding ownership structures, or supporting additional accounting and reporting requirements. Pricing does not change due to market movements, asset allocation shifts, or growth in private assets such as private equity or venture capital.
3. How are onboarding and managed services priced?
Onboarding services are charged as a one-time fee and are listed separately from the core platform pricing. Managed services, such as ongoing posting, reconciliation, and reporting, are offered as an optional add-on. This separation keeps the cost structure transparent and avoids bundling operational services into the software price.
4. Does pricing include access to reporting, analytics, and data aggregation?
Yes. The core pricing includes access to performance reporting, portfolio analytics, consolidated reporting, and data aggregation across asset classes. Family offices are not charged extra to access investment data, reporting views, or key analytics needed for day-to-day investment tracking.
5. How does this pricing approach help control long-term costs?
By avoiding AUM-based pricing and performance-based fees, Asset Vantage helps family offices control costs as complexity grows. Pricing is aligned with administrative functions and operational requirements, supporting cost stability as family wealth, ownership structures, and investment strategies evolve.
1. What level of support and training can we expect in the license fee alone; if we don’t take up the extended support (Service Fee)??
Support and training are available and include how to post data, how to set up reports etc. However does not include actual handling of client data (i.e. onboarding, reconciliation, and setting up report templates) which is a part of managed services.
1. Is my data private and safe?
AV has several measures in place to ensure the privacy and security of your data Read the AV Privacy & Security Manual
2. Who has access to my data?
AV does not have access to your data. Your data is private and you can create user and access profiles for designated staff of your family office within your private IT system.
3. What happens to account data after contract closure?
If you choose not renew your annual contract, your system will be deactivated with prior intimation. You can remove or export all data in advance of your system’s deactivation.
4. Is there a way to get a backup of my data?
Responsibility of your data’s backup lies with you. AV’s backup / restore functionality exists within a client instance and has to be setup to take daily encrypted backups. Only client’s license can be restored. Read the AV Data backup Manual
5. Does AV have an automated back-up service?
Yes, for a nominal annual fee, you can outsource the end-of-day daily backup to AV. You can reach out to the AV Customer Success team or your sales representative to help you.
6. Does AV have disaster recovery processes in place?
Yes, AV takes disaster recovery backups at an alternate site. These backups are taken at midnight GMT every day, with a rolling 7-day backup. In case of disaster recovery, client systems will be restored with maximum information up to midnight GMT of the previous day. There is no individual system restore option available for disaster recovery.
7. How does Asset Vantage handle financial data in a family office context?
Asset Vantage is built for family office operations that span multiple asset classes, ownership structures, and reporting needs. Investment data is captured through structured data feeds and consolidated into a single system, reducing manual data entry and improving data accuracy across modern family offices.
